Captain Yesterday

Wednesday, March 29, 2006

Well I have had an awful lot of spares recently because my teachers for Literature, Theatre Studies and Psychology have been away. I am waiting anxiously for a reply Hayden sent through the mail. I sent him over a page full of questions.

Well with my spare times I have been looking back to the past. I love old things. Not too old, mostly just the 80's and 90's. I found a website www.retrojunk.com that panders for my love of the old school.

I am currently in the market for a SEGA dreamcast, lets hope I can find this little under-apreciated gem :).

Later Skaters
Ah the 50's, it feels like so 50 years ago. The whole world was running on the atom and there as no stopping progress. However there was also the threat of the potentially leatal Atomic or Hydrogen bomb, but dont fret. You WILL be safe as long you Duck and Cover!

But there is an even greater threat than the Bomb, you see there are sick people called "Ho-mo-sex-uals" and it is contagious condition. If one approaches you, what do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO! This film should awnser your questions:

I hope you learned your lesson today kids. If you have any questions ask your teacher or a parent after the movie.

Happy 10th Birthday Pokemon

Tuesday, March 28, 2006

Wow! Some people might find this hard to believe but today is the day that Pokemon turns 10 years old. Pokemon plays a very vital role in the lives of all people currently attending high school. Boys and girls all over the world would scream and fight over the next piece pokemon merchandice. They would whine, they would scream to their parents. Nintendo thought they were gods! Oh well good times. Here is my trubute to pokemon:

A classic example of a pokemon collection

A Movie I found, this is what happens when an obsession becomes unhealthy:

And some lyrics to go along with it:

I wanna be the very best
Like noone ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause
I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide
Each Pokemon to understand
The power that's inside

Chorus
Pokemon!
It's you and me
I know it's my destiny
Pokemon!
Ooh, you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
Pokemon!
Our hearts so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I'll teach you
Pokemon
Gotta catch 'em all!

Every challenge along the way
With courage I will face
I will battle every day
To claim my rightful place
Come with me, the time is right
There's no better team
Arm in arm we'll win the fight
It's always been our dream

Chorus

Chorus

And lets not forget Mewtwo, the god of all pokemon!
I found this advertisment cute. What do you think?

I am writing this post deep from the bowels of the school. The S-Pod. We are making a title for the esteemed graphic poster representing "What Economists do". Jenn says SMEG!

Here's Erin (www.erin1710.blogspot.com):
HELLO! I am the greatest in the universe, or at least a contender of such an honourable title. Jenn is crazy. I like chocolate. In order to find perfect happiness, you must mail me some chocolate. And don't say that you'd be happier with the chocolate because that is propaganda!!! I'm just trying to ramble on here, Jack is holding a gun to my head and if I don't keep typing he'll blow an imaginary bullet in to my precious skull of wonder and the imaginary blood would make such a mess on the keyboard and Jenn. Jenn is from King Hong, off the coast of Canadia.

Here's FriendlyFred (www.xanga.com/friendlyfred):
H3110, 1'm h16h 0n k4t! Luv, ur b00d33. Freendly Freed.

Wasn't that fun! Now to return to reality. Now I need a place to stash this gun of mine before the cops crack on to me. Wait I think I hear them now *Weeee Woooo Weee Wooooo*. Crap!

Feel the Joy

Sunday, March 26, 2006

Yesterday I spent the day in Geelong. I had lunch as Smorgys, yuck! I should of spent my money at somewhere a bit better than that. Not to mention I had to listen to the stupid “Salty the seal” animatronics show on the half hour.
After that I went on a cruise around the bay. That was really nice, I wrote a letter to Hayden. When we got off we went to this thing about “Celebrating youth”, so we say some bands, some acrobats, some dance routines. Then I went for a swim.
I have certain traumas about swimming at the beach. I have been taken out into rips twice and had to be rescued twice. I’m still easing myself into swimming in vast amounts of salty water, it was cold but refreshing.
After the swim I went to a free concert for Killing Heidi, which rocked. I ate a baked potato for dinner. After that I went home.

Today I went to the studios of Joy FM, located in South Melbourne. It was really cool. For national youth week I was invited to share my coming out experience, which they will broadcast. It was a rather interesting place. It re affirms that Dykes are the coolest women out there. I payed for membership ($20) and then got ready for the recording. There were three of us to be recorded today, a dyke, myself and a trannie (In that order). My story is a rather funny one, but I was told at that in some of them they broke down into tears. I guess everyone has a story to tell. Anyway, I said that I have experience in radio and now they want me to be part of the team. This has the potential to become interesting.

Haydens HouseWarming

Post 1
Time: 1:32

Okay, things are going pretty good so far. Everyone is more or less waiting around for people to arrive. I stayed up until 3 AM baking the cake at great personal expense. It better be worth it. I like to call my cakes “Coronaries” because the facts that it has an entire stick of butter, one block of chocolate and 4 eggs. Hayden is currently sitting next to me reading a mail “Enjo” catalogue. Will post more as it comes.

Post 2
Time: 7:50

Okay, the party has come and gone. Over the time we had Haydens family come around, nice people. At the moment I am talking with Jamie, Hayden and Mark. The past few hours have been a gay romp with tickling, food and double entendres. I can’t be bothered going home to an empty house so I’m staying the night. While we were sitting outside Hayden got rather fresh with me and started playing with water. It is the Bob incident over again! Jamie seems rather apprehensive, defensive. I don’t know why, perhaps we will never know. The same series of songs have been playing all day. At the moment Hayden and Mark are talking about mobile phones and pricing plans. Haydens phone usage is ‘excessive’, I won’t state any specific figures, all I will say is that it is unfathomable by my standards (Looks like someone has been making a few too many phone calls to the “Cory Hotline”). The cake I made was great, even if perhaps a little dry. I think it was worth spending the time on it. Darren is in Bali at the moment, a perfect time to hold a party. I am going through my play list finding some corny old dance songs. I have no idea as to what is going to occur next, probably going to get very chilled soon. Mark as just left. More later!

Post 3:
Time 8:20

Okay, apparently Jamie and Hayden are an item without me knowing it. I have now accepted defeat and stoping humouring the idea of anything. But I don’t feel bad, in fact I feel somewhat humbled. I wish Jamie and Hayden many many happy times together. However that does not mean I won’t try to squeeze more information of Hayden, there is so much to him that is shrouded by fog. It is impossible to resist wanting to know more. Perhaps my natural curiosity is getting the better of me. Just Perhaps? Additional: One thing I did notice is that Jamie is ‘head over heels’ for Hayden, yet Hayden seems to be very casual, so casual you wouldn’t suspect they were any more than mates. Just an obsivation

Post 4:
Back Home 1:35

Well Mark came back for a while we talked for a while and then we all went to bed. I don’t know what time it was that I woke up and Hayden was standing by the door and saying something, I mumbled something back in 3 am ‘half-talk’. Later I realise he was asking to share the bed and I mumbled back “I’m fine”. For the next few hours I we bummed around the house talking about crap. I ate a piece of toast, the most nutritional thing I had eaten in three days. We then went into the city, where we went to Melbourne Youth Services so go look at the computers at “JPET”. At the entrance of the building there was a scruffy man screaming at me telling me he was going to kill me. I decided to take this as a compliment. There were no computers free so we went back to Flinders Street in which we went our separate ways.

Additional: Slowly over time I have been realising that my senses have been failing on me and it pains me inside. I’m slowly realising that my eyesight is failing, my hearing is disappearing and I can hardly smell anything any way. I feel as though slowly I am entering a world closed to me, one without experience. Nothing but white silence, without taste and smell. A neutral world, and it kills me inside.

I'm online

Friday, March 17, 2006

Whoopedy do! I am currently online are rearing to go.
And that means more blog posts.

What have I been doing recently? Not an awful lot. Yesterday I was living in today. I waited half the day for a install man to arive and then I arrived at a party over 24 hours early.
I am going to Haydens Housewarming party on Sunday, I'm baking one of my famous chocolate cake and giving him one of my "Spike Jrs.". Tonight I'm going to Carlas "Mystery Scince Theatre 3000 marathon" and on tuesday is my "Party in the park". They are all things i look forward to.

I've been watching the Simpsons Marathon, the best thing ever. Why does Ian Thorpe have to host it, why? Its kind of like Sadam giving out the nobel prize in literature.

The commonweath games are going on at the moment, the opening ceremony was magical, even though it didn't make scence.

[Edit: For some reason Entry 1 is missing. I will attempt to reconstuct it using post two as a help]
Entry 1
Time 7ish

It took me about two hours to get to Batman, that was okay because I have lappy. Hayden lives in a very nice house. We came in and Hayden started watching 'Home and Away', One thing that did take me as a supprise was when a middle aged man came wandering in half asleep in a shirt and undies. We learn more about him in Entry 2. Hayden is making nachos, the meat he originally used was mostly fat, so in the bin it went. I noticed a pile of photos in Haydens bedroom, I must look through them. (Please excuse the switing between present and past tense)

Entry 2
Time 9:49

Well I have gone through Haydens photos and lemmie say that there is nothing that I can blackmail him over. I suppose if I wanted those photos I’d have to raid his bedroom. What I did find however, was a few pictures as Hayden as a young lad at a pokemon event, a few pictures of him at his graduation (Did you know that Carla and Hayden were in the same graduating class?) and a picture of Hayden naked in the bath with what looks like its dad. That particular photo would be great if there weren’t so many bubbles in the way. The Nachos he made tasted good, not like any nachos I’ve tasted but good never the less. I got to learn a little more about the guy in the underpants and shirt. His name is Daren and he is a 40 year old social worker, he has gone of swimming. Currently on the TV there is ‘The Lizzy Maguire Movie” (*gags*). “Does he phone ever stop ringing” I ask myself. Hayden is a very popular person. Oh well, at very least it makes an interesting blog comment. Whoever keeps calling him must have a lot of credit because they always call his mobile. Someone will soon come around apparently, in Haydens words “A really good friend, possibly something more”. The name of the blog is “Life is study” and boy am I learning a lot. Lets see how this plays out…

Back with more news!

Entry 3:
Time: 10:46
Well, the friend has arrived, his name is Jamie and boy does he know how to make an impression. He just has an aura of gay around him. Daren has returned from the gym and he is currently fighting with Jamie over how to display some old sketches on the wall. The conversation is seems pretty lively, I’m not part of it. Perhaps they are speaking another language, or perhaps I am just hard of hearing. Personally I believe it is a mixture of the two. Mr Anti-social. Now if you excuse me I’m going to join the conversation. Bye.

Entry 4
Time 11:07
I am starting to get sleepy now, I wonder how long I can keep going, yaun! The music that is playing is pretty groovy, not exactly my cup of tea but eh.

If I don’t write another post I’m probably asleep.

Entry 5
Time: 1:14

I cant sleep, too much coffee. I tried to sleep and now I’m back up. Hayden has been up all this time writing back to companies who take time to write to him. Right now he is talking to some guy he met over the lines. It makes me feel… undesired. I mean I did not travel over three hours to be ignored; I can do that at home. I mean I’M RIGHT HERE HAYDEN! GET OFF THE BLOODY PHONE HAYDEN! Nothing left to do but to crack my knuckles in discontent. Hayden, you are loosing big points! Oh well, at least I am rather comfortable sitting here on the sofa, there is a plus! I wonder what to do now, I can’t go back to sleep and I don’t feel like sitting around. I’m listening to music, The song playing at the moment is called “Keep me in your heart” by Warren Zevon. Music that is on shuffle is a funny thing. Now I will attempt to make conversation. With me luck!

Entry 6:
Time: 1:30

Bloody Hell Hayden, I’m trying to talk and you’re just punching away at your mobile. I’ve had enough of this, I’m going to try to go to bed…. Again!

Entry 7
Time 6:36

After successfully get some shut eye I feel really refreshed. Of coarse it’s too early to actually do anything. So I found the pen and paper Hayden was using before and wrote a letter. It’s contents including Lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody, Movies that people keep telling me that I have to see and news that I have Turned Layla Bi. Yayness. Who knows how long it will be until everyone else wakes up. It could be hours, hours! This looks like a job for crashing on the couch listening to music in shuffle. Good Morning Everyone!

Entry 8
Time 7:00

Well I couldn’t crash on the couch. Living as a student is having its toll on my sleeping patterns. Late to crash, early to rise and feeling great waking up. Oh well. I’m now on the outside couch listening to George Michael watching the sunrise. Man it’s cold. My Naruto wrist band won’t keep me warm this time. I think it’s closer to the truth to say I’m watching it get brighter outside. Early bird catches the worm I suppose.

Additional: Left at 10am, Hayden wasn’t even up for 5 minutes. Spent most of the time morning talking to Darren. He knows Felicity from EGG quite well; he wants to give a lecture. Everything is so inter-connected.

What I look like

Tuesday, March 07, 2006

According to youthink.com this is what i look like:

If you cant see it go to:
http://www.youthink.com/quiz.asp?action=take&quiz_id=300

I think i might get plastic sergery now.
So much has been goin on in my life however my access to the internet has been limited, so I apologise for not posting for a while. I probably wont be posting for a while, I will be getting the internet at my new address on the 16th

Last week this new custordy thing was put into effect so from here on in I will be spending every other month at my Greensborough address. So far it has been going good.
Really the major thing going on has been the party i held on saturday. At around 6pm alot of people sated arriving. These people included: Myself, Doug, Peter, Carla, Emily, Erin, Daniel and Layla. Once everyone arrived all of us (Except Emily and Doug) went to the video store to get some supplies. These Super Smash Bros Melee toudament (Daniel won that) and then we had a round of Mario Party 4 (Carla and I won that one zing). That was went the party started! I got my laptop going, we established a playlist, and danced for the next few hours. It was really cool when we moved to "Tribute", "The Time Warp" "Bohemiean Rhapsody" "Smooth" "Never gonna dance again". I taught Carla some of my Latin dance moves and Doug taught me one of his 'special' dance movies. Doug spent most of the time talking to my dad and when he came out he felt rather destracted. My dad was drunk at the time, so I could immagine the things Doug was being told.
The cops even showed uo to my party, well they came around to tell my dad to switch of his boom box he left on in the backyard, but the police came never the less.
Then one by one people left and the party slowed down until we switched off the music and dedided to watch Sin City the most artistically done blood and gore film I have ever seen.

The next day I went to Queeries 2 at the ACMI cinemas, I was going to go with Hayden but he spontaniously had to go on an interstate holiday for the weekend (*Rolls eyes Sarcastically*), the movied were really good, some were sad, some were funny, some were in between. The only thing that made me feel uneasy was that there were too many men with grey hair for a gay youth event, far too many. Anyway, watching some of these short films have inspired me to do a documentarry about being young and gay in the Banyule and Nillimbic area.

On Monday we had a party to show Mrs Manly into the big wide world. I brought a big chocolate cake. We couldnt eat all the cake so it was taken to the staff room and I kept on getting compliments on my cake. I like getting complimented on my cake, once it was decribed as "Better than sex" so that is pretty damn good!

Today I had an Literature SAC on the poems of Gwen Harwood, I think I did rather good. I guess i wont know until I get the restults back.

Plans for short term: Organise a party in the park in which we dance and eat pizza (Synergising), construct ideas for a documentary, meet up with Hayden and Doug and actually TALK, something that hasn't happened in a while.

Life is a party, fave fun but dont leave too much for the hosts to clean up!
