The Days that Followed
Thursday, June 30, 2005
Wow, What a riotous few days it's been. I guess it all started yesterday, yes it was a bright sunny day and I was tired of spending hour after hour playing Super Smash Bros Melee so I decided to do something spontaneous with my day and went on a bike ride to the city. It was nice and I recommend it to anyone who is fit enough.Today, I also went into the city. My dad was part of that big protest in the city regarding fair employment. For all of you playing at home I don't need to explain this, however for those oversees (Just in case), The Howard Government will at midnight tonight get full control over the senate and in the process is going to get rid of award wages and allow laborers to be sacked at the drop of a hat. This didn't make the workers happy (suprise, Supprise) so today in most capital cites, including my dear home Melbourne (home to over one hunded thousand protesters). However because the senate if meagerly Howard all the protesting in the world wont help them, just like protesting over Iraq. Now everyone is regretting voting for who they did and the oppostition leaders face says "It is so gratifying to watch you wallow in the mess you've created your screwed, Thank-you bye". This is a perfect example of how the rich deceive and connive their way to make themselves richer while leaving the people whom it concerns the most out of the picture. It sort of reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons how Mr Burns sells of the dental plan for a keg of bear at union meetings.
Anyway today I spent three hours in a hair dressing school in the city having my hair done. I wont complain because I like the overall result. I now have black tips and it's cut so it can be spiked up, but if I let it grow I can the it back in the back. Its at times like this that I thank the good bountiful lord for good books like "Steven Kings: Dramcatcher". Nothing makes time fly like reading about an cancerous alien creature hemorrhaging out of its host via her anus and attacking everyone with its razor sharp teeth.
After that I went around the market and bought a vest (Silver ooh la la) and a nice warm jumper. Following that I went around the city continuing my job search. I applied at three bubbletea places and a comic book shop. So far the comic book shop is the best bet. He liked me (As in he was nice), he spoke English, My resume suits that sort of job, and I made a really big impression. It not even that much of a nerdy place either. Its a cool upstairs one with tones of simpsons memorabilia.
Here's looking at you kid,
Jack.

Okay by mistake I was writing my blog when I hit something and everything I wrote disappeared DAMN!!!!!!!! CURSES AND HOLY MONKEY TRUMPETS OF HADES!!!!!!!Well anyway I'll just write it again (damn)!. Everyone seemed to like that line in the production. So I thought I'd have it as my title.
I congratulate Taylor in getting a new job at IGA and I wish him the best. In a related topic, with I but of jealousy in my Systom I went out looking for a Job. So I went out and submitted my resume to Several book shops, a lolly shop, a DVD shop and a roller skating ring. I eventually I came to the conclusion that it'd be better to wait until they were offering jobs rather than throw myself at prospective employers.
Over the past few days I have been rather sick. Well I feel great but my body disagrees. I have had a whole bunch of symptoms present themselves to me in single file. Then leave to make way for another one. First general uneasiness, then queasy stomach, then runny nose and now I have lost my voice. Last time I lost my voice I found it an octave lower than when I left it. Could this mean that I could sould like Barry White? Short Awnser: NO, long awnser: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
last night I went to Big Group and we talked about 40-hour-famile. We are going to raise $1000 for poor children. We can starve/go without furniture/go withiout technology/or not talk. Which one should I take.
After that we were discussing a whole binch of hypothetical situations, followed by wold records and we could set one (Like whe worlds biggest game of duck duck goose ^_^) . Then fish and Chips. Then we had a spitting contest and paper airplane contest. Fun Fun Fun. If you want to go to big group tell me. Soon we will be going to dark zone.
Getting better (slowly) Jack
Sorry about spelling mistakes I'm in a tad of a rush!
My Triumphant Return

Wow, It's been so long since I last posted. It almost seems like I've been reunited with an old friend.I dont know how long I will keep on blogging for but I want to start in a regular pattern. Keeping you informed and non conformed (HA HA Gotta love that).
Well alot has been happening latley and it has been all coming to a grinding halt now that the semester is over and now the holidays have begun. (Insert picture of me living it up in sunshine) (Replace that picture with me playing computer games in cold cold Melbourne).
Well let me start with This years production of "Aladdin: The Rock Panto". Might I say WHAT A SHOW. Production and Practice has been hard and tyresome but it was worth it. I played the genie with Amy (We were of one body on stage ^_^) As the years go on I see myself more and more of a vereran of school productions. I also get more used to it. I mean I dont stress about opening nights anymore. Is it because I have more faith in my abilities? Who knows. I guess the most noteworthy event was as follows:
In the changeroom/Greenroom a hell of a lot of things go missing and presumed stolen. One of these things were the directors camera. So the cast and crew got together and raised the money to buy a new one. Only to find out the camera was out in the back of her car. She started bawling when we showed her the new camera.
I am getting on better terms with the cast and I have refuted my dislike for Jacob. I have replaced it for respect for his talent. When it all boils down i am just one jealous child.
I also made a friend backstage. Which I hope will blossom into something wonderful in the future. Hi Taylor!
School is over and I got a good report with Average-Good marks on my report.
I've gotta go to big group now (Church Youth Group) at Greensborough Uniting.
Peace out and Keep on Trucking (Whatever that means)
